The Experience
As a mother, I know how important it is to capture those ordinary + extraordinary moments. Time is a thief + photography allows you to remember life exactly as it is right now. A lifestyle session focuses on connection. I use guided prompts + movement to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. This also allows me to capture authentic interactions.
I will guide you through the entire familysession.
We will start with a few formal poses, but your session will be primarily centered around lifestyle moments - which makes every session truly unique. You'll be able to look back in ten years and remember how you felt before you became parents, how your little one used to giggle + how tiny their toes were. I will be right there to document it all for you.

Something brought you here and I am so excited! You get to make the first move! Send me an inquiry using the contact form at the bottom of this page. Make sure to include your family details in the "share your story" section like if its your first baby or if you have a few children already. It will help me put together the perfect portrait package for you!
1. Say Hello
2. Booking yOUR sESSION
After your initial inquiry we will get to know each other. I will share my investment guide which breaks down my portrait packages + shares my awesome location options. We will talk through the best location for your session (hey maybe even book a studio) + settle on a date.
I will send you a contract + invoice - you will need to pay the non-refundable retainer (30% of your session fee) and sign to hold your date + officially book your session. Its really that easy!
3. bEFORE yOUR sESSION
So we have picked your date + location and you have signed your contract + paid your contract! YAY! Now you are getting all the things ready for your session. I will be there to guide you will outfit choices (because I have been there!).
A few days before your session, I will send you a questionnaire to help me get all the details about you and your family. I will ask things like "What's your spouse/partner's name?" and "What makes your kiddos laugh?" I will also share details about where to meet me for your session.
4. Your Session
Today is the day! We will meet at the designated spot + get to finally meet in person! Your session will start with a posed shot (for that picture perfect photo you hang about your mantlepiece) + then we will spend the rest of the session following my guided prompts. You will move, interact, laugh + create the most beautiful memories (all while I document!)
I focus on candid interactions as they showcase your family in the most authentic way. Do not worry about being camera - shy, because you won't even notice it!
5. your photographs
Your session went great and now you cannot wait to see the photos! Within 48 hours you will receive preview images - a few sneak peaks from your session to get you excited (and lets be honest its because I am so excited to share!)
You will then receive a link to view your proofing gallery - a gallery with the best images in their RAW form. You will choose the number of images from your portrait package and then I will edit those. I will upload the final images to a gallery that you can download from + share with your family + friends.
