JeeYeon + Julio wanted a beautiful mountain backdrop for their maternity session so we chose Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado. Chautauqua is one of my favorite locations for maternity sessions because you don’t have to drive far from Boulder. It is also an easier hike for expecting mothers with extra stops along the way (lets be honest the stops are really for me!).
This Boulder Colorado Maternity Session at Chautauqua Park will forever be one of my favorites!
I have never photographed a session at Chautauqua Park in the Spring, but it just might be my favorite season to photograph. The wildflowers were starting to bloom and the grass was coming alive again after the long winter. The sun set in-between the Flatirons and cast the most beautiful warm golden light during our session.
We walked up the main trail at Chautauqua Park and stopped at a few of my favorite spots. JeeYeon was pure joy to capture. Her + Julio were so much fun together and the love they have for each other was evident. JeeYeon chose a beautiful blue lace dress to wear and added a bouquet of baby’s breathe.
I love getting to know my clients and seeing how they interact during each photography session. A maternity session marks the moment between deciding to become parents + giving birth.
I know JeeYeon + Julio will look back at these photos of their maternity session at Chautauqua Park, and remember the time before their lives changed forever. Their sweet baby girl is already so very loved, and I cannot wait to make more memories for this beautiful family soon.
